Artist, architect, and curator,

Ayfer Idil Kemaloglu, known as Idil Kem, studied architecture at Politecnico di Milano and graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Lyon. She also pursued studies in fine arts at the Beaux-Arts de Lyon and is a member of the International Association of Art Critics (AICA).

Her architecture master's thesis , titled "Les nouveaux musées: vers un changement de paradigme" (new museums: towards a paradigm shift), has become an experimental foundation for her works. It explores new definitions of museums in the 21st century, with case studies including the Centre Pompidou, Guggenheim Bilbao, and Fondazione Prada, questioning the relationship between art, architecture, and the human experience.

In Val Taleggio, Arles, and Lyon, she creates site-specific art installations as cabinets of curiosities, showcasing historical, artistic, cultural, and architectural heritage.

Idil Kemaloglu, who integrates the topics of biomimicry and biophilia into her work, was invited as a speaker at Milano Design Week as a resident of Nature Art Habitat Residency.  Her work has been exhibited at the Wroclaw Architecture Museum alongside visionaries such as Rem Koolhaas, Superstudio, and Paolo Soleri.

She took part as a cultural mediator at the Leonardo Da Vinci exhibition at the Louvre and in Christo - Jeanne Claude's “Arc de Triomphe Wrapped” art installation.

She organizes cultural, artistic, and architectural workshops for children within several schools in Paris. As an artist and curator she collaborated with scientists from  Sorbonne University to create the exhibition “ Voyage autour du lichen” as part of the Art & Science collaboration.
